1. Write a brief reflection (no more than 2 pages) on the following:  "My religion provides me with answers to these questions..."  Please be sure to identify at least five specific questions, along with answers.  Due Thurs, 9/15...DAY 5.

4.  Reading the link below on Christian mysticism: Clarification of Terms, answer the following questions.  Your answers should be in short paragraph form.  A) Describe the relationship between cataphatic and apophatic approaches to the Divine.  What are the defining characteristics of each and why can neither be seperated from the other.  B) Describe the different types of prayers along the mystical path that leads to contemplative union with the Divine.  C) Do you think the mystical tradition has the potential to lead to more meaningful dialogue with other religious traditions?  Explain your answer.  Due Friday 10/7
